One of the founders of the Model Aircraft group of Rovereto, he obtains a diploma in accounting in 1938 after which he immediately joins the Aviation School of Cameri (Novara). By the end of 1939 he obtains his pilot’s licence and is nominated second lieutenant. Assigned to the 276th Bombing Squadrilla, he fights on the western and the Greco-Albanian fronts, totalling just in this sector 300 war flying hours on the enemy targets of Kalibaki, Corfu, Prevesa, Perat, Zulath, Patras. He dies in a plane crash on 28 May 1941. Commemorative Silver Medal of Military Valor.
