World War II: Fighters

A tipographer, he takes part with the rank of sergeant in the war operations on the western front (11-25 June 1940), on the North Sea with the Italian Air Corps (CAI) in the Battle of Britain (October 1940-February 1941) and in northern Africa with the 77th Fighter Squadrilla. He is injured in the face while fighting in the skies over Libya in the course of 1941. He dies in Turin on 28 August 1941 in an air accident.
