World War II: Bombers

The brother of Gaetano, an officer veteran of the Italian East Africa, and of another military of the Italian Royal Air Force, he joins the youth organisations of the Fascist party and distinguishes himself in the skiing contests organised by the GUF (Fascist University Group) of Trento. Sent to eastern Africa in 1938, he fights as a bomber pilot in the African skies (1940-1941). Silver Medal of Military Valor.
