A pilot sergeant major of the Italian Royal Air Force, he fights in the skies of northern Africa from 12 November to 16 December 1941, carrying out 16 war actions with the 352nd Fighter Squadrilla. He dies in Lonate Pozzolo in an airplane accident on 5 May 1942. Bronze Medal of Military Valor.
