Bruno Camin_

Marburgo (Germania), 1918-?

Bruno Camin was born in Marburg in Germany on 28 November 1918 to parents from Trentino. After obtaining the industrial license in electromechanics, he entered the ranks of the Regia aeronautica during the thirties, reaching the rank of marshal. From 1938 onwards, he was the test pilot of numerous aircraft at the Gardolo airport: among others, SIAI S.79 and S.81, IMAM Ro.37, Caproni Ca.101, Caproni Ca.133, Caproni Ca.310, Ca.312 and Ca.311. During his flights, it is not uncommon for him to take a few shots of the panoramas he flies over and of Trento. After the Second World War he continued his aviation activity as a civilian pilot with airliners also on transcontinental routes aboard Douglas DC-8.
